Verve Motion’s mission is to power the human workplace through people-centric robotics. Verve Motion is venture-backed technology company, spun out from Harvard University’s Biodesign Laboratory, based on research funded by DARPA, National Institute of Health, and National Science Foundation. Verve Motion has commercialized a flexible exosuit for distribution center workers. The SafeLift suit takes 30 seconds to put on, and reduces injuries 5X by offloading weight during repetitive lifting operations. The lightweight suit is mostly made of textile materials, and can learn and adapt to wearer movements to provide force only at the right moments and stay completely nonrestrictive the rest of the time.
